Customer Review: 25/06/26
Great experience from start to finish. All customer contact by telephone was extremely good, very informative, professional and helpful. Walked us through the ordering process to ensure we got exactly the door we wanted. All aspects of the measuring and fitting process with our fitter George were also brilliant. A very professional job and the door looks fantastic. Would highly recommend as our whole experience has been top class.

How do I care for my new door?
Caring for your new door is very simple, but there are some products you should not use.
When cleaning your door, DO NOT use any solvent-based cleaning product as this can react with the finish of the door and cause discoloration of the surface.
In all cases, clean or soapy water is fine to use - but NEVER products like washing-up liquid.
For all moving parts, like the barrel or the door locks - NEVER use WD40 on these.
You should always use a manufacturer's specified lubricant, like the Ultion carbon door lock lubricant. This is not actually oil based and so causes less mess. An oil-like "3 in 1" is suitable but only with light use.
What colours can I choose from?
We offer our composite doors painted in any RAL colour, Farrow & Ball colour, Dulux colour and any colour from the British Standards colours range.
Composite front or back doors and frames, can be painted in matching colours or in a mixture of colours from the vast range of Dulux, Farrow & Ball, BS and RAL colour systems.
Ask a member of our team for further details on the possibilities of painted composite doors.
What about after the door installation?
For all of our new doors that have been supplied or fitted, we provide added peace of mind in the form of a door guarantee.
Should an issue arise that is covered by guarantee, we are here to take care of it without question.

Help & Advice
What is a uPVC door?
uPVC doors first came to the UK around the early 80's as the main alternative at the time (Aluminium windows) did not insulate homes very well.
This was especially true during the cold winter months as the door frames were not thermally broken. Instead a metal bar was used that transferred the cold from outside to in.
The benefits of uPVC became well known, and the industry saw a boom for this product as consumers were eager to capitalise on benefits of energy efficient doors and windows, as well as the aesthetics.
Can a homeowner fit their own uPVC door?
It may seem a daunting task, but many homeowners successfully fit their own uPVC doors every year.
A good level of basic DIY skill is essential for the successful installation of a uPVC door. Accurate measurements are needed for seamless fitting.
A useful tool to help when measuring is our Measuring guide.
Providing the correct tools and skill level is used, fitting a uPVC door as a homeowner should not be impossible.
Ensuring the door is measured properly, the correct fixings are used, and that the door itself is fitted plumb and square, there should be little to no need for adjustment. If required, all doors are fully adjustable.

On Cowboy Builders for the right reason ??? Episode 9 Oldham - Mr & Mrs Rashid

When approached by Cowboy Builders and learning of the devastation that a local cowboy builder had left, we couldn't not help the Rashid family who were clearly in distress. With the whole of lower house unlivable, we did only play a small part to making the Rashid's home a safe and comfortable living space. We're glad to say that the first thing you do see is the new composite front door which we think looks great.
What is a composite door?
Composite doors bear the aesthetics of traditional timber doors, but do not require the same level of maintanance. Manufactured from a composition of materials including GRP (Glass reinforced plastic), this is where the name composite comes from.
If you're wondering the cost of a composite door, you can read more about composite door costs here.
In addition to their stunning looks, security and efficiency is a big feature. Using "Secured by design" insurance approved multi locks, combined with the strength from the internal timber structure, and the highly efficient and insulating polyurethane core, the composite is a far superior choice over a traditional wooden door if you are looking to create the right look for your home if your looking to make it more energy efficient and secure.
